Passion: Giving a voice to the most marginalized communities and making sure they’re heard in every setting. I am passionate about making sure that first generation, low-income students get the proper resources on my campus, ensuring proper livelihood and retention, in order to follow through on the diversity message higher institutions push.

Cool Projects: I’ve served on the First Year Governance Council (a subcommittee of the Outreach & Diversity Affairs committee of the Student Government Association), Interim Co-President of Latinas Unidas, a campaign intern for an Ohio Statehouse race, a Sophomore Political Science Research Assistant, and an Administrative Assistant for the Africana Studies Department. Next year, I will be serving as the Co-President of Latinas Unidas, the Vice President of The First Generation Student Organization, an At-Large Councilwoman for Campus Council, and a Resident Assistant. This summer, I will be working as an intern for an at-large campaign for City Council here in Wooster.
